The Colégio do Vale provides a national Portuguese curriculum across Creche (0-2 years), Jardim de Infância (3-5 years), 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (6-9 years), 2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (10-11 years) and 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (12-14 years). The international curriculum includes Bilingual Preschool (from 3 years) and Cambridge Primary (from 5 years). From 13 to 17 years, the Dual Diploma program offers a dual certification of Portuguese Secondary Education and American High School, in partnership with Academica International Studies. The school is located at Avenida Vale Bem, nº 24, 2820-389 Charneca da Caparica and holds operating license no. 564.
Solidarity Campaign – Educating in Mozambique. The school runs charitable campaigns to support education in Mozambique.
Surf is offered as an extracurricular activity. Surf classes promote outdoor physical activity. The program reflects a commitment to wellbeing through active outdoor experiences.
Colégio do Vale is an integrated school welcoming children from Creche to 9th Year in Charneca da Caparica. Since summer 2024 it has been part of Forfar Education Group. The school offers National Curriculum and International Curricula, including a Bilingual Preschool and Cambridge Primary. From age 5, Cambridge Primary is taught in English, with Portuguese maintained as a curricular subject to balance bilingual learning. The Cambridge Primary curriculum covers English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Global Perspectives, Portuguese, Art & Design, Music, Digital Literacy, and Physical Education. Additional activities and clubs include LabMat Club, Drama and Theatre Club, and the Solidarity Project. For students in 8th to 11th grade, the Dual Diploma program enables concurrent study at Colégio do Vale and a US High School online, earning both the Portuguese Secondary Education diploma and the North American High School diploma, delivered entirely in English. Transport and meals are available as school services.
