The Colégio do Vale is an integrated school hosting children from Creche to the 9th Year. In the summer of 2024 it became part of the Forfar Education Group. The school offers National Curriculum and International Curricula, including Bilingual Preschool and Cambridge Primary. The Dual Diploma program, in partnership with Academica International Studies, enables students from 8th to 11th year to earn both the Portuguese Secondary Diploma and a North American High School Diploma, with instruction delivered entirely online in English. Transport and meals are available as school services.
There is an Escola de Línguas (Language School) and a Dual Diploma program. The Language School is coordinated by Teresa Azevedo. The Dual Diploma program enables 8th- to 11th-year students to earn both the Portuguese Secondary Diploma and the North American High School Diploma. The program runs online and is conducted in English.
Extracurricular activities are offered under the Co-Curricular/Educational Services framework. Gymnastics is highlighted as a popular extracurricular activity. The school maintains a Co-Curriculum area for activities outside the formal curriculum. The Escola de Línguas & Dual Diploma area complements the extracurricular program with language-focused opportunities.
Colégio do Vale is an integrated school welcoming children from Creche to 9th Year in Charneca da Caparica. Since summer 2024 it has been part of Forfar Education Group. The school offers National Curriculum and International Curricula, including a Bilingual Preschool and Cambridge Primary. From age 5, Cambridge Primary is taught in English, with Portuguese maintained as a curricular subject to balance bilingual learning. The Cambridge Primary curriculum covers English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Global Perspectives, Portuguese, Art & Design, Music, Digital Literacy, and Physical Education. Additional activities and clubs include LabMat Club, Drama and Theatre Club, and the Solidarity Project. For students in 8th to 11th grade, the Dual Diploma program enables concurrent study at Colégio do Vale and a US High School online, earning both the Portuguese Secondary Education diploma and the North American High School diploma, delivered entirely in English. Transport and meals are available as school services.
