The school is surrounded by a large garden that supports sensory development through direct contact with nature and offers space to grow plants and learn about biodiversity. The garden includes play areas and a dedicated activity zone for Pre-nursery pupils (2-3 years old), who have access to the garden outside of normal break times.

We have three types of extra-curricular activities, which are optional and run independently from the school day. Breakfast club runs from 8:15 to 9:00, offering breakfast, supervised play and care. After-school care runs from 4:00 to 6:00, providing supervised play. After-school clubs run from 4:00 to 5:00, and the offer changes from year to year to reflect the wishes of parents and pupils.
Situated in Lisbon's Restelo district, L'École Trilingue serves pupils aged 2 to 11 with a trilingual immersion programme in English, French and Portuguese. The school follows the French curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage, organized around five areas of learning: language, physical and artistic expression, thinking and learning tools, and world exploration. Portuguese is taught daily for 30-45 minutes, and the school day is split between English and French instruction. The teaching is accredited by the French Ministry for Education and certified by the Portuguese Ministry, reflecting a cross-border partnership with France and Portugal and linking to the sister school in London.
