The first LIS campus is located in Marinha Grande, housed in a beautiful historic building dating from 1966 that has been adapted for modern use and is newly renovated. The learning spaces are designed for the whole person, supporting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development. Outdoor learning is central to the program, with nature and community engagement embedded in projects. The interior design emphasizes transparency and movement, with flexible spaces ready for project-based learning and integrated digital technology. On-site Football Pitch (LIS). Tennis is played at Clube de Ténis da Marinha Grande (CTMG). Rugby uses the Football Pitch (LIS). Swimming takes place at Desportivo Náutico M.G. (LIS VAN). Horse riding is provided with Assoc. Equestre Cavalo Dourado (LIS VAN). Jiu Jitsu uses Checkmat (LIS VAN).
Leiria International School offers the Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through A/AS Level, with all instruction delivered entirely in English. The learning spaces are designed to be flexible and collaborative, with integrated digital technology to support project-based learning.
Leiria International School offers Co-Curricular Activities across arts, music, science and sports. Programs include Boys Football and Girls Football on campus, Tennis at CTMG, Rugby, Swimming at external venues, Horse Riding, Jiu Jitsu, and a range of music lessons (Guitar, Piano, Drums, Violin, Clarinet), plus Creative Art, Mini Kinos, Sewing Studio and The Inventors, Contemporary Dance, and Irish Dancing. Additional programs include partnerships with Brighton Learning Center and Happy Code. These CCAs are not included in the tuition.
Leiria International School serves students aged 3 to 18 with a Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through A/AS Levels, taught entirely in English.
