Admissions Process

The school serves students from kindergarten (K5) through 12th grade with an online hybrid American curriculum that meets US and UK education standards. Intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction ensures English proficiency. The International Student Center provides guidance and support for homeschooled students and their families. The high school program includes an online-hybrid option with Liberty University (LU), and LU affiliation enables dual-enrollment college courses. Graduates have been admitted to universities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, the Republic of Georgia, and other countries, with SAT preparation and testing support available. Open Enrollment is offered. The school emphasizes character development, individualized attention, and faith-based learning, and the student body represents 25+ nations. Bible is taught to every grade, weekly chapel is held, and the school pastor is available for counsel and support. The evangelical approach centers on Jesus Christ and diversity is celebrated with 25+ nations represented in the community.

Sintra International Christian Academy is a K5–12 international Christian school affiliated with Liberty University in the United States. The school delivers an online hybrid American curriculum designed to meet US and UK standards while expanding toward 21st-century learning goals. Teaching is delivered by qualified educators within a Christian framework, with Bible study integrated across all grades. The program emphasizes intensive English as a Second Language support and STEAM-inspired learning to build problem-solving skills across subjects. In grades 9–12, students can access an online-hybrid program with Liberty University for dual enrollment and higher education preparation. The Learning Day runs from 8:20 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with small class sizes of 10–12 students and technology allowed in classrooms. Athletically, students participate in volleyball, basketball, football (soccer), field hockey and badminton, while many join local federated clubs for gymnastics, swimming, and surfing.
