The school runs a Summer School each year. Summer School runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and is open to children aged 6 to 10, including non-St James pupils. Daily English lessons are provided. Enrolment forms and payments must be submitted one week before the start date. Year 5 students also participate in field trips, such as a planned visit to Conímbriga (Field Trip Year 5 Red & Blue).
