AWIS follows the National Curriculum of England, supplemented by the IEYC/IPC frameworks. Arabic is taught to all students with five weekly Arabic lessons and is streamed by language ability: native Arabic-speaking students follow the Ministry of Education curriculum in Arabic, while non-native speakers study Arabic in English. All students in Years 1–6 study Arabic and Islamic Studies and Qatar History; Islamic Studies is delivered as a first or second language, with two lessons per week (native Arabic speakers in Arabic under the MoE curriculum; non-native speakers in English using Call to Faith). Qatar History is taught weekly using MoE textbooks in English or Arabic, according to the student's Arabic ability.
