It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Step 1: Eligibility for admission. Age limits are defined per class and are determined by the dates 31 March and 30 September. Parents should verify the class-specific age requirement before applying. The policy ensures students are placed in the appropriate class according to age.
Step 2: Documents required for registration. The student's identification card or valid passport (original plus one copy) is required, along with the birth certificate (original plus one copy) and a valid residency permit for all non-Qataris (original plus one copy). Two recent photographs are required, and a health record is needed for children aged three to six who are residents in Qatar (sight of originals plus copies). For Class I onwards, a previous school TC and last year's report card are required, and for KG II and above a written test is conducted. For KG I, only a parent interview with the Principal is required, and the child should accompany the parent for the interview.
Step 3: Admission testing and interview. The admission test for KG II and above is based on the syllabus of the class immediately preceding the class sought. All tests are followed by an interaction with the Principal, and the principal's final decision is binding. The process is designed to assess readiness and fit with the school's program.
Step 4: Fees and fee payment. Fee structures are provided in the Ministry Approved Fee File for Bhavan's Public School – Al Wakra and Bhavan's Public School – New Salata, showing Registration Fee, Admission Fee, Special Fee, Caution Deposit, Education/Tools Fee, and Tuition Fee per term, varying by grade. An online fee payment option is available. Transportation fees are handled by the transport department; contact them for details. Fees are subject to approval of SEC.
