DBS uses a year-group uniform policy: Primary wear a DBS polo shirt with skorts/shorts and optional navy jumper; Years 1–6 wear a DBS shirt with skirts/trousers and PE kit; Secondary wear a DBS shirt with skirts/trousers and a compulsory house tie (blazer optional). Sixth Form wear a blazer and tie with a white shirt, and House T-Shirts are optional for sports and House events. Uniforms can be purchased at Zaks Uniform Store Doha, Al Rayyan Municipality, Industrial Area Road.
Food service is provided on site via school cafeterias. The timetable shows lunch for secondary from 11:50 to 12:30 and a Breakfast Club before school from 6:30.
DBS uses a British house system to foster belonging and healthy competition. Each house represents an element of Qatar, and students participate in inter-house competitions throughout the year.
DBS is a member of Artan Consulting and Educational Services (ACES), a private education group which owns, manages and operates educational institutions in Qatar. The DBS campuses form a three-campus cluster: Ain Khaled, Al Wakra, and Rawdat Al Hamama.
