Doha International School is a private international school in Qatar since 1995, supervised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar. It follows the American curriculum (California) and offers classes from Pre-school through Grade 6. The main language of instruction is English for core subjects. Arabic, Islamic Studies and Qatar History are taught in accordance with MOEHE requirements, in Arabic or English for non-Arabic-speaking students, with the ministry providing the mandatory books. French, Social Studies, Activity and Computer & Technology are offered as supplementary subjects. Learning materials are scrutinized and filtered to align with Islamic values and local cultural traditions.
