Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Register your interest for KG 1 to Grade 6 online at www.greenwood.qa. The admissions team reviews the application and, if suitable, invites you to the next step.

2. If invited, take a campus tour and meet admissions specialists to ask questions. On the same day, KG2 and above applicants complete an oral interaction and entrance exam.

3. The entrance papers are reviewed and the admission status is communicated the same day or within two working days.

4. If admission is confirmed, pay the non-refundable registration fee of QAR 2200 on the same day to secure the seat; the seat is not reserved until payment is received.

5. After payment, submit all required documents within the period specified by the admissions team. Required documents include: Registration form; recent passport-size photographs; copy of Health Card (HMC); copies of applicant's and parents' Qatar IDs; latest school report (if applicable); overseas applicants: Grade 2 and above report cards must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Qatar Embassy in the country of the last school; local/overseas applicants: a transfer certificate showing completion of the academic year; Fit to Join School certificate from PHCC; Languages Form; other medical certificates if requested.

6. Fees must be cleared for the term before the first day of the term; class placement is carried out by the academic staff and leadership team.

7. Overview: All nationalities except Arab are eligible to apply. Siblings have priority but admission is not guaranteed. All applicants must pass an entrance test; those who pass are offered a seat or placed on a waiting list. When a seat becomes available, candidates on the waiting list are considered. If a child fails the entrance test, the school may reassess at its discretion. Applications are online and must be fully filled.

8. Grade Levels: Children will be admitted to the appropriate class as per the mentioned age criteria.

Waitlist

The school maintains a waiting list for applicants who pass the entrance test but do not secure an immediate seat. When a seat becomes available, candidates on the waiting list are considered for admission. Sibling priority applies within the admissions process.
