Pak Shamaa School, Doha, established in 1958, is the city's oldest private co-educational school. It is recognized by the Ministry of Education and affiliated with Pakistan's Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE). The Doha campus in Mesaimeer offers spacious classrooms, a playground and science laboratories, with an AGA Department functioning as a mini FBISE board. The school offers Pakistani and Cambridge curricula. Classes run from Grade 1 to 8: English; Urdu/Geography/Arabic; Mathematics; Science; Social Studies; Computer; Islamic Studies; and Qatar History. For SSC (9–10) English, Urdu, Islamic Studies and Pak Studies are compulsory, with Science, Computer Science and Humanities groups; for HSSC (11–12) English, Urdu, Islamic Studies and Pak Studies, with Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General, Humanities and Commerce groups. The academic year follows three terms (Sept–Nov, Dec–Feb, Mar–Jun) with eight weeks of summer break. Co-curricular activities focus on cricket, football and volleyball.
