Park House English School was founded in Doha in 1994 by a British family as a villa school. The school moved to its current purpose-built building in Doha in 2004. It became part of the International Schools Partnership in 2016. A major refurbishment in 2018 updated facilities, including a new reception area, an extended auditorium, two new science laboratories, refurbished libraries, an additional ICT laboratory, a design technology suite and a dedicated Sixth Form centre. In 2024 Park House marked its 30th anniversary with celebrations including a school production in the Heather Brennan Auditorium.
Park House has a truly international community, with pupils and families from over 70 countries. The school maintains the Park House Community Initiative (PHCI), launched in 2012, which offers more than 200 activities for children and the wider community. As part of the International Schools Partnership network, students participate in ISP-led opportunities such as Model United Nations and the ISP Buddy Exchange Programme. Whole-school cultural events include International Day, Qatar National Day and Ramadan family events to celebrate diversity and community involvement.
An active Parent School Association (PSA) regularly organizes events at Park House, including International Day and World Book Day. PSA members support reading in the primary school by volunteering to hear pupils read. Parents have a separate login to the school system, and there are multiple channels to communicate with the school. The PSA oversees regular parent workshops and ParkHouseConnects sessions, which are highly valued by families. Parents report a positive relationship with the school and appreciate the quick responses from staff. PSA activities also include fundraising and awareness events such as Pink Day and Blue Day.
