Queen's Qatar delivers a British international school curriculum aligned with the English National Curriculum, governed within Artemis Education. Foundation Stage follows the England and Wales EYFS framework, with Read Write Inc phonics from Nursery through Reception and White Rose Maths guidance in early years. In Years 1–9 (Primary and Key Stage 3), the programme includes English, Mathematics, Science, Design and Technology, History, Geography, Art and Design, Music, Computing, Physical Education, and PSHE; Arabic and Islamic Studies are taught under MOEHE guidelines, with Qatar History and languages such as French or Spanish. At the end of Year 11, students take Cambridge IGCSE examinations, studying core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, a language, and non-examined PE) with up to three optional subjects. Sixth Form (Years 12–13) offers AS and A Levels through Cambridge and Edexcel, with Arabic at AS Level and Islamic Studies required for Arab passport holders and Muslim students in Year 12, and most students progressing to three A Levels in Year 13.

Gather documents. You will need the child's Birth Certificate; child's Passport; both parents'/guardians' passports; child's QID; both parents'/guardians' QIDs; a letter of employment from the child's sponsor; Vaccination Record; Fit to School Certificate; End of Year Report; passport-size photo. Documents can be uploaded via the Open Apply checklist. 3. Application. Complete the online form and upload all required documents, including your child's most recent school report if applicable. Check the age placement guide to apply for the correct year group. The QAR 300 application fee applies for Year 1 and above and can be paid online or at the Finance Office. Open Apply app can be used for easier management. 4. Assessment (if applicable). Entrance assessments are not always required; however, your child might be invited to complete an assessment to help determine the best placement. EYFS: Play-based observational assessment; Year 1–6: 1:1 dialogue, Maths, English, CAT4 may be required for EAL; Year 7–9: CAT4 and a short, written assignment. 5. Offer. Successful applicants will receive an official offer letter via email within 5 working days. This may vary during school holidays or peak periods. An invoice for the Registration Fee accompanies the offer, and the place is secured once payment is received. 6. Securing Your Place. Accept the offer by submitting the Acceptance form and Parent/Guardian Contract, and pay the Registration Fee of QAR 500 and Book Fee of QAR 2,500.
If classes are full, accepted applicants are placed on a waitlist. Places are offered as they become available, with priority given to siblings. If no place opens during the academic year, the application may roll over and reassessment may be required, but no additional fee.
