Uniforms are compulsory for all students. Boys wear regulation trousers with a belt, a regulation short- or long-sleeved open-neck shirt, plain black shoes and white socks, and a regulation school-colour sweater; hair must be short and sensibly cut with no hair gel; jewellery is limited to a watch. Girls wear regulation skirts (long or below knee) or trousers with a belt, a regulation short- or long-sleeved open-neck shirt, plain black shoes and white socks, and a regulation school-colour sweater; hair adornments should be black, blue or white and hair must be tied back; jewellery is limited to one pair of studs and a wristwatch; scarves must be white, cream, black or school colour; on PE days, students wear the School House PE kit and must bring a swimming costume, towel and swimming cap.
The canteen is Ministry-approved and offers a variety of options including sandwiches, rice meals, salads and juices. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and dietary needs are accommodated; meals are prepared by professional chefs using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients where possible, and vending machines provide snacks and drinks.
The Cambridge School operates a four-house system. The four houses are Eagle, Owl, Kestrel and Hawk, and students participate in inter-house competitions; leadership opportunities are available through the School Student Council.
The Cambridge School is owned by the Taleb Group of Companies. It is governed by a Board of Directors, including Taleb Mohammed Taleb Al Khauri as Chairman and Jayashankar Pillai as CEO/DS of the Taleb Group.
