Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
The Cambridge School Doha was founded in 2001 and opened in September 2002 with under 300 students. In 2003 the school began offering IGCSE, followed by A Levels in 2005, and the school operates a Sixth Form for Years 12 and 13. The Cambridge School Doha is part of the Taleb Group of Companies, which has overseen the schools in the group since 2008. The institution has grown to serve a diverse, multi-national student body over the years.
The Cambridge School Doha hosts students from a wide range of nationalities, with numbers historically reflecting a truly diverse community. The school uses a house system with four houses: Eagles, Falcons, Hawks, and Kestrels, and maintains a long-standing student leadership tradition including prefects and house captains. A broad spectrum of clubs supports the community, including English, Math, Quran, French, Music, Art, Science, ICT, and PE activities. Communication with families includes a weekly Gazette published in English and Arabic and ongoing updates through the school portal and related channels.
Parent involvement is organized through formal channels rather than a named PTA body. The school appoints a Parent Relations Officer (PRO) who serves as the primary point of contact for parent concerns. Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings are held each term to discuss student progress, and updates are shared via a Parent Portal, the TCS Pulse Group, SMS, and the E-Planner. The weekly Gazette and the Parent Review mechanism provide ongoing parent communication and feedback opportunities, and parents can engage with the community through the TCS Blog and social media. While a formal PTA is not listed, these channels are designed to support active parent participation in school life.
