Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
The school requires a compulsory uniform for all students. If a student arrives without the proper uniform, they may be asked to obtain the correct attire before entering lessons. The Physical Education uniform is required for PE classes, and parents should mark clothing with the student's name or initials to help identify items; unclaimed clothing is disposed of at the end of each term.
There is an on-site catered cafeteria at the Khor campus. Parents may supplement with packed lunches; the school emphasizes healthy food choices, recommending items such as sandwiches with fresh ingredients, fruits or vegetables, and water or fresh juice, while carbonated or high-energy drinks are not allowed in school.
The English Modern School is privately owned and operates four campuses in Khor, Doha, and Wakra, delivering the Cambridge International Curriculum. It is endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and is a member of the Council of International Schools. It serves as an authorized hub for Cambridge International Examinations and Edexcel International and holds NEASC accreditation.
