The English Modern School operates four campuses: Doha, Khor, Wakra, and Wakra Kindergarten. The Cambridge International Curriculum is implemented across KG1 to Year 13, with pathways including Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS, and A Level. The school is endorsed by MOEHE and is a member of The Council of International Schools, serving as authorized hubs for Cambridge International Exams and Edexcel. NEASC accreditation is held by the network, and Cambridge Learner Attributes underpin the community. The school is a Google Referenced School (2021–2023) and uses Google Education Training and Chromebooks for learning.
There is an indoor gym and an outdoor covered basketball court. The campus includes a large multipurpose room suitable for various activities, and two amphitheaters for student learning and performances.
The Khor campus features two ICT computer labs and three fully equipped science laboratories. Chromebooks are available via in-class Chromebook carts. A large multipurpose room and an on-site catered cafeteria support daily learning, and the library houses thousands of levelled reading and resource books. Destiny Discover provides access to the library collection online, with materials organized by reading level using the Fountas and Pinnell system.
After-school activities include basketball, STEAM, Art and Arabic activities, crocheting, and maths games. There are mandatory academic support clubs for primary and secondary students. EMS Khor hosted a Secondary Science Fair in 2025, showcasing learner projects and inquiry-based work. A Cambridge Arabic PD Workshop has also featured among extracurricular activities.
