Vision International School uses an American-based curriculum for grades 1–12, aligning with Common Core, AERO (American Education Reaches Out), and Next Generation Science Standards. In PreK and KG, the Creative Curriculum supports development across social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language domains. The Elementary program covers Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, plus Arabic Studies and Arabic Language (for native and non-native speakers), Islamic Studies, and Qatar History. High School offers English Language Arts, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, World History, Geography, Economics, Psychology, Entrepreneurship, Introduction to Mass Communication, Video Production, Speech & Debate, and AP courses where eligible.
Arts are integrated into the curriculum. Elementary includes Physical Education, Art, and Music as part of the core program, while High School includes Video Production and Speech & Debate. These subjects support creative expression and communication across grade levels.
Arabic Studies and Arabic Language are offered for native and non-native speakers. Islamic Studies is provided for Muslims. Qatar History is included in the core program.
An after-school activities program is available and encouraged as part of students' holistic education. Participation is voluntary but requires parent consent and online registration; students must be collected promptly after the ASA.
Service Learning at Vision International School aims to foster responsibility and empathy by extending learning beyond the classroom, including reflection activities and community engagement. The program emphasizes reciprocity between students and communities and seeks sustained, meaningful impact.
College and Career Readiness is provided by the Counseling Department through personalized academic advising, comprehensive career counseling, and support with college applications and admissions. Students participate in advisory sessions, graduation planning, college fairs, workshops, and university visits to explore pathways and set goals.
