Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

OGIS provides an education that integrates academic learning with personal and emotional development within an international community built on empathy, trust, and respect. Learning is student-centred, and the school recognises and supports each child's individual needs, interests, wellbeing, and personal development while maintaining high academic standards. The school offers three internationally recognised curricula—the Romanian National Curriculum, the Cambridge International Curriculum, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme—alongside co-curricular activities, personal development programmes, environmental projects, and UNESCO initiatives. English as an Additional Language (EAL)

English is taught intensively at pre-school, primary and lower secondary levels. At upper secondary level, the school is authorised as a bilingual high school, offering students the opportunity to study several subjects in English within a multicultural learning environment.

Olga Gudynn International School (OGIS) is a Romania-based educational group serving ages 2 to 18 with three internationally recognised pathways: the Romanian National Curriculum taught bilingual English, the Cambridge International Curriculum, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). The Cambridge pathway unfolds as Cambridge Primary (Years 1–6), Lower Secondary (7–9), IGCSE (10–11), and Cambridge International AS & A Levels (12–13). The Romanian National Curriculum provides a solid academic foundation aligned with the Ministry of Education, preparing students for the Romanian Baccalaureate and university study. The IB DP offers a rigorous programme for Years 12 and 13, including Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service components. OGIS is UNESCO-affiliated, accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education, and authorised by Cambridge and the IB for the Diploma Programme.
