Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Questfield International College was founded in 2003 by Fabiola Hosu as a British curriculum-inspired kindergarten. Fabiola Hosu is the founder and CEO, and Questfield has been led by her for more than twenty-one years. The school is located in the North area of Bucharest and offers two lines of study: Romanian and International. Programs include a Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary School and a High School opening planned for September 2024. The campus is located at Titu Maiorescu 26 Street, Pipera – Voluntari, Romania.

Community

Questfield hosts Cultural Celebration Day and TEDx Questfield International College Youth events as part of community life. The campus includes green areas, playgrounds, three buildings, and an outdoor swimming pool, supporting assemblies and informal gatherings. The 2025 TEDx Questfield International College Youth edition, Disruption: Building Order from Chaos, took place on 22 November 2025 at ARCUB Gabroveni in Bucharest, featuring student and teacher speakers.

Parent-Teacher Association

Parents are essential partners in Questfield's leadership framework. Parent Leadership Teams work closely with school leadership to shape policies, programs, and community-building initiatives. Parent Ambassadors represent Questfield within the wider community, strengthening external relationships. Event Organization leads cultural celebrations, fundraisers, and community outreach programs that bring the school community together. Workshops and Collaborative Projects involve parents in co-creating workshops and initiatives alongside teachers and staff. Community Leadership includes collaborative problem-solving with students, parents, and teachers; partnerships with local organizations; and volunteer and outreach leadership.

Questfield International College, founded in 2003 by Fabiola Hosu, is a private, two-line school in Bucharest offering Romanian and International study pathways from early years to secondary. The campus on Titu Maiorescu 26 in Pipera–Voluntari blends a green, welcoming environment with modern facilities, including a large outdoor pool, a sports field, spacious classrooms and a central gathering room used for weekly assemblies that bring the community together. The school follows a British curriculum framework, with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels, and also offers an Indian curriculum, ensuring options for diverse higher-level qualifications. Curriculum maps align with the English National Curriculum, detailing what is taught, when, and how learning deepens across Preschool through Year 9 and Year 10–11. A strong emphasis on language and internationalism runs through the programme, with Romanian and international cohorts and a robust language focus. Enrichment programmes include chess, robotics, drama, MUN and Duke of Edinburgh.
