Ntare Louisenlund School

Ntare Louisenlund School is located in Nyamata, Bugesera District, in Rwanda's Eastern Province. It sits in the Nyamata area, a short drive from Kigali and is accessible by road from the capital. The campus uses a Nyamata address and serves the Bugesera region.

The school operates a six-year program with two streams per year group: 80 STEM scholars and 80 international students, with the international stream focusing on social entrepreneurship. Each year group welcomes about 160 students.

The day starts with 7:15–7:45 Morning Workout, then 8:20–8:55 Breakfast. Academic learning runs 9:00–13:00, followed by 13:00–14:30 Lunch and Mentor–Mentee Meetings. 14:30–16:30 Academic Learning Experiences, 16:30–18:30 Co-Curricular Program/Community Engagement, 18:30–19:15 Dinner, 19:15–20:15 House Community Time, 20:15–21:00 Free Time, and Curfew at 21:15.

Application / Registration fees

- Registration fee: RWF 1,850,000 (non-refundable).
- Deposit upon enrollment: RWF 1,850,000 per child (refundable on completion of studies at the school).

- Grade 7 & 8 (Middle School) — Per term / Annual:
- NSOBA members (30% discount): RWF 5,366,666 per term / RWF 16,100,000 per year.
- Rwandan students: RWF 7,666,666 per term / RWF 23,000,000 per year.
- Non‑Rwandan students: USD 6,500 per term / USD 19,500 per year.
- Organizations: RWF 9,000,000 per term / RWF 27,000,000 per year.

What the tuition covers

- Tuition fees include lessons, the educational programme, meals, boarding, required academic books, and stationery.
- Uniforms and personal expenses (pullover/uniform items, additional textbooks, telephone calls, travel, individual medical treatment, charges for private activities, excursions, and leisure activities) are invoiced separately.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Standard billing/payment cadence: fees are billed per term. Term payment deadlines are:
- Term 1: August 25.
- Term 2: December 25.
- Term 3: April 1.
- If the full annual tuition is paid in advance, a 2% discount is applied.
- A 20% sibling discount applies from the second child onward.
- Tuition fees are non‑refundable.

Boarding fees

- Boarding is included within the published tuition figures above (tuition figures are inclusive of boarding and meals).

Other costs and one‑off charges

- Registration fee (non‑refundable) is charged at enrollment as noted above.
- The enrollment deposit (refundable after completion of studies) is required on admission.
- Personal items and optional activities (uniform items, some textbooks, travel, medical treatment, external examination or activity charges) are billed separately and are not included in the standard tuition.

Refund information

- The registration fee is non‑refundable.
- The deposit collected on enrollment is refundable on completion of studies at the school, subject to any deductions for outstanding charges.

Half of students are from Rwanda, and the other half join from East Africa and the rest of the world.
