Ntare Louisenlund School is Rwanda's boarding school offering an IB curriculum with a STEM focus. Rooted in Kurt Hahn and Maria Montessori traditions and updated by contemporary science, learning is personalised in groups of about 20, supported by house systems. An e-portfolio documents progress for learning and university applications. The school is an IB World School, a Round Square member, and a member of NEASC CIE and GEBG; instruction is in English and German, with German study toward at least B1. It maintains a partnership with the Rwanda Ministry of Education and pursues IB authorization with MYP candidacy. The campus hosts five laboratories, learning studios, and seminar rooms, plus sports facilities, and uses ManageBac for digital resources. Global Education includes Model United Nations and Round Square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service. Co-curriculars include theatre, debate, language exchange, pottery, sewing, choir, orchestra, jazz band, design, and sports.
