Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is assessed on a full‑year basis for scholars who enroll in the first semester. Tuition may be paid in two equal semester installments; families with three or more children enrolled may elect four equal installments. Attendance of one full week in a semester makes the scholar liable for the full semester tuition. A monthly late payment penalty of 2.5% is applied to outstanding unpaid balances. VAT at 15% is applied in compliance with KSA regulations; Saudi nationals are exempt from VAT.
- Seat deposit: SAR 4,000 (applied toward tuition). Seat deposits are refundable if withdrawn by the date the school requires; the tuition statement indicates refunds are possible if withdrawal paperwork is submitted before May 1st, and the Seat Deposit is generally due on or before February (seat deposit timing is part of the school's enrollment/seat reservation process). Seats for returning scholars without a paid deposit are not guaranteed.
Application and one‑time enrollment fees
- Application Fee (due at application submission): SAR 0.
- Assessment Fee (prior to assessment/interview): SAR 500.
- Registration Fee (due at enrollment / re‑enrollment): SAR 14,500. (No Registration Fee for Pre‑K2, Pre‑K3, Pre‑K4 — registration is postponed until the child reaches KG.) The school has noted that a registration fee requirement will apply to all families beginning August 2026.
- Capital Fee on enrollment: SAR 0 (where indicated).

In circumstances requiring a one‑to‑one assistant, parents pay the additional personnel wage cost. LS/ELL/SLP fees are payable in advance by semester but are refundable for any non‑used quarter; any participation during a quarter obliges payment for the whole quarter.
Other regularly incurred scholar fees
- Scholar uniform (shirt): SAR 75 per shirt. Official uniform provider named (retailer) is Zaks (store details and purchasing options are provided through the school's uniform information).
- AP course fee (high school): SAR 600 per AP course.

- Music instrument rental: SAR 500 per instrument per year.
- Proof of enrollment letter: SAR 25 per copy; official transcript: SAR 25 per copy; official copy of high‑school diploma: SAR 100 per copy. Courier services: SAR 110 per envelope. Online SAT prep course: SAR 375 per semester. School supplies vary by grade (PK–8). Additional variable costs (lost or damaged textbooks, library books, international trip costs, SAT exam fees, sports event costs, etc.) are not included in the standard fee list and are billed as they arise.
Tuition refunds and withdrawal billing
- Tuition refunds: refunds are issued only for unattended semesters; attendance of one week or more in a semester removes eligibility for a refund for that semester. LS/ELL/SLP fees are refundable for any non‑used quarter when paid by semester in advance, subject to the school's quarter‑use rule. Seat deposits are refundable if the withdrawal form is submitted before the stated refund deadline for deposits. A monthly late payment fee of 2.5% applies to outstanding balances.
Sibling discounts
- Sibling tuition discounts (apply only to tuition, not to special services or AP fees): Second child receives 5% off that child's tuition; third child receives 10% off that child's tuition; fourth child and additional children receive 15% off each of their own tuitions. The eldest/first child is considered the first child for discount sequencing.
Boarding / accommodation fees
- The school operates as a day school; no boarding program is provided. (Boarding status is listed as DAY in international school programme records.) No boarding fees apply.
Fee payment options and where payments are managed
- Billing and payments are managed through the school's Finance and Admissions offices; the public tuition statement and contact pages present the billing structure, seat deposit and invoicing rules, but do not list a detailed public menu of accepted payment instruments (specific accepted instruments such as bank transfer, credit card, or other electronic payment channels are handled directly by the Finance office at the time of invoicing). Parents pay tuition and fees according to the chosen installment plan and invoicing instructions provided by the school's Finance/Admissions offices. For account‑specific payment instructions and to complete payment, contact the school's Finance or Admissions office.
Other important fee notes
- VAT treatment: tuition figures are shown with VAT at 15% where applicable; Saudi nationals are exempt from VAT and will not be charged VAT on tuition. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to adjust published tuition and fees. A 2.5% monthly late payment fee applies to overdue balances. Seat deposits secure places for returning scholars and are applied toward tuition when paid. Special service fees, AP fees and other ancillary fees are charged in addition to base tuition as required.
AISJ draws a diverse student body representing multiple nationalities. The school reports around 1500 students for the 2024–25 year and a community of about 68 nationalities. The school does not publish a single most-common nationality or a fixed local-to-international ratio.
