It is governed by a volunteer body of British parents elected by BISAK families to guide the school's development and ensure resources support pupils' learning. In February 2025 BISAK became the first British school in Saudi Arabia to receive an Outstanding rating in all areas from the UK Department for Education's British School Overseas program.
