Talent Search provides past question papers and study material for classes II through VIII. It supports exam preparation and self-study. The Talent Search section is part of IISD's academic offerings.
Guides and Scouts provide character formation and leadership development through regular training and activities. Guides for classes VI–X (GSS & GMS) include training on flag song, prayer song, the law, the motto, knots, whistle signals, wood-craft signs, whipping, and cooking; First Aid training covers choking remedies and CPR. World Peace Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, World AIDS Day, Republic Day and other occasions are observed at IISD.
The Scouts Wing comprises 160 boys and conducts training on the origin of the movement, flag song, law and promise, patrol system, and first aid. Activities include beach cleaning, peace marches and regular troop drills. Cubs have a football team and Bunnies have a badminton team.
The Scouts and Bulbul wings undertake community service activities including a beach cleaning camp at Al Khobar corniche and sapling planting. They also participate in peace marches and other awareness programs as part of social responsibility efforts.
The school uses a house system with House Captains for BSSS, GSSS, BMS, GMS, UPSB and UPSG. Captains and Vice Captains oversee student leadership across sections, with detailed house-wide rosters published on the leadership pages.
Evening Games form part of the school's sports program. Cubs run a football team and Bunnies run a badminton team. The Mega Beach Clean Up Event is part of annual school activities and promotes outdoor well-being.
