KiS was founded in 1995 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to serve both male and female learners from Kindergarten through Grade 12 in a multicultural environment. The school delivers a strong American curriculum within a learner-centered system and offers languages including English, Arabic, French and Mandarin. KiS provides Advanced Placement (AP) courses and is pursuing authorization for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) as part of its IB World School pathway. The school has been accredited by Cognia since 2013, reflecting its international accreditation status. KiS participates in the Learner's World International Schools Network (LWIS) and works with international partners to support its programs.
