Reigate Grammar School Riyadh (RGSR) opened in September 2022 as part of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) International Schools Programme. It is the first RGSR school in Saudi Arabia, established in partnership between Reigate Grammar School UK (RGS-UK) and ADECO, the education arm of Ethraa Holdings. RGSR offers a British curriculum aligned with RGS-UK and shares the same ethos, teaching and learning philosophy, and student welfare model. The Riyadh campus is located to the east of the city and serves about 1,700 students aged 3–18 from more than 65 nationalities. RGSR is linked to Reigate Grammar School UK, founded in 1675, giving RGSR Riyadh a heritage of over 345 years of educational tradition.
RGSR Riyadh hosts a diverse, international community with students from more than 65 nationalities. The campus hosts events that involve students, staff, and families, such as Roald Dahl Day, which features reading activities and performances. RGSR hosted the Cambridge Annual Leaders Meeting in Riyadh, bringing together principals and leaders from over 40 schools and highlighting links with international education networks. Introductory evenings for parents were held in October 2022 to welcome families and introduce staff, and an Outdoor Parents' Café supports ongoing parent engagement.
