The school operates on two campuses: Campus Corniche Ouest and Campus Ngor, each serving different year groups. Campus Corniche Ouest houses the Kindergarten (PS to GS) and the Elementary division (classic, bilingual, and Relai classes). Campus Ngor houses Kindergarten (MS and GS) and Elementary (classical CP to CM2), with bilingual (CP to CM1) and CM2 opened in September 2022. The school's dual-campus setup supports its bilingual and multilingual offerings across early years and primary education.
The school offers three academic pathways. The classic section (CP to CM2) teaches the French curriculum, which is accredited by the French Ministry of National Education, and is enriched with four weekly English sessions. Choosing the classic section ensures continuity of schooling across countries within the network of French-programme schools abroad (about 500 schools in 130 countries). The bilingual section (PS to CM2) uses a bi-curricular approach, with equal instruction in French and English, taught by two teachers, exposing students to two linguistic and cultural universes. This pathway prepares students to enter international institutions offering programs such as the International Baccalaureate. The alternative track includes a Relai class for learners with identified difficulties, offering an individualized program and psychological support.
Extracurricular activities are offered every day from 3:10 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. They are playful, cultural or sports-based and are led by external professionals or school teachers. This year, the activities include: writing workshop, basketball, DIY, sewing, dance, football, graphic design, sciences, chess, motor skills, painting, circus, pottery, hip hop, tennis and theatre.
Ecole Actuelle Bilingue (EAB) is a private international school in Dakar, Senegal, within La Cité Scolaire Internationale (CSI). The campus network includes Campus Corniche Ouest and Campus Ngor, serving Petite Section through CM2 with distinct French and bilingual programs. EAB offers three pathways: the classic French track (CP–CM2) aligned with the French national curriculum and enriched by four English sessions per week; the bilingual track (Nursery–CM2) taught equally in French and English by two teachers per class; and an alternative Relai track for learners with identified difficulties, providing an individualized program and psychological support. The school participates in the AEFE network, is recognized by the Senegalese Ministry of National Education, and the classical section is homologated by the French Ministry of National Education. CSI promotes multilingualism and multiculturalism and aims to prepare students for study in international institutions. Extracurricular activities run daily, and the Parent Association (APE) supports school projects and events.
