Language Provision

3 to 19 years of age. We cover from kindergarten to the final year of secondary school. Up to 100 hours of annual teacher training. Maximum class size is 24 students.

Bilingual Teaching

The school offers two continuum international programs: the Middle Years Programme (PEI) from 6th grade to 11th grade, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in 11th and 12th grades (Première and Terminale).

Immersion Programs

PEI is taught with a learner-centered pedagogy and unfolds around the triptych 'Research-Action-Reflection'. It enables students to become accustomed to research questions, their resolutions and their applications. Its approaches to learning unlock students' potential, making them more confident, more autonomous, more proactive, more creative, and more open to the modern world. The IBDP is taught in 1ère and Tle and prepares students for the prestigious International Baccalaureate, which allows access to the world's top universities.

Enko Dakar International School is a secular, co-educational day school in Dakar that serves students aged 3 to 19. It delivers a continuous IB programme, from the Primary Years Programme to the Diploma Programme, with MYP offered from Grade 6 to Grade 11 and DP in Grades 11 and 12. The school provides bilingual education in English and French and is recognized as the first IB candidate school in Senegal to offer the Middle Years Programme. Accredited by the Senegalese Ministry of Education and the International Baccalaureate Organization, Enko Dakar combines inquiry-centered learning with a focus on research, action and reflection.
