History

Enko Waca Campus is a selective bilingual, secular, co-ed school in Dakar, Senegal that opened in 1996 to offer bilingual education with an international perspective. It was the first International Baccalaureate school in Senegal and gained accreditation in September 2000. In September 2018, Enko Education acquired the school and it became Enko Waca Campus. The objective is to prepare students for social and professional success and to provide access to internationally recognized higher education while promoting responsible global citizenship. Our learners are mostly Senegalese from middle-class families and the school emphasizes African roots with global exposure through study tours and conferences; alumni include leading entrepreneurs, politicians, and financial advisors.

Enko Waca learners are mostly Senegalese from middle-class families, with the ambition to study at internationally recognized universities. They grow African roots and global wings by learning about African cultures while participating in study tours and conferences. Alumni include Senegal's leading entrepreneurs, politicians and financial advisors. Enko Waca employs highly-qualified staff, with up to 100 hours of professional development per year, and currently serves around 300 learners.

Enko Waca Campus in Dakar, Senegal is a bilingual, secular, co-educational IB World School serving 375 students aged 11 to 19 across two campuses. The school offers a French curriculum up to Grade 10, reinforced by elements from French, British, and American programmes, leading to the Senegalese BFEM and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Grades 12 and 13. A Foundation Year in Grade 11 helps students transition from the national system to the IB curriculum. The school is accredited by the Senegalese Ministry of Education and by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Opened in 1996 as a bilingual international school, it became Enko Waca Campus after joining Enko Education in 2018. The objective is to prepare students for higher education worldwide and to promote responsible global citizenship, while highlighting African roots and global exposure through study tours and conferences. Bilingualism runs through all programs, supported by Enko Education's Africa-centered model.
