History

The International School was established by the Founder's decision dated 30 April 2015. It is located at 45 Šumatovačka Street, Belgrade. The School was verified by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development No. 022-05-00036/2015-03 dated 14 March 2016. By the Ministry's decision No. 022-05-203/2018-07/1, as of 25 August 2020, primary education activities and the Cambridge Primary and Secondary 1 programme, for students aged 5 through 14, were verified in accordance with the National Curriculum and the Cambridge Primary and Secondary 1 programme.

Community

International School fosters a dynamic school life with clubs such as the IS Student Council and the ISMUN club. The Joy of Giving Fair is a student‑led humanitarian bazaar and science fair held on 26 December 2025, demonstrating student leadership and community engagement. Students presented stands across disciplines including physics, chemistry, biology, debate and U.S. history, with proceeds supporting charitable causes. The event highlighted life‑skills development such as initiative, teamwork, communication and critical thinking.

Parent-Teacher Association

The Student Council engages with the school community in cooperation with the Parent Council, and the Parent Council exists to support school life alongside the Student Council and school leadership.

Located at 45 Šumatovačka Street in Belgrade, The International School is a private day school offering Cambridge programs and the IB Diploma for students aged 5 to 18. The curriculum follows Cambridge Primary (ages 5–11), Lower Secondary (11–14) and Secondary/Advanced (14–19), with seven IGCSE subjects in Years 10–11 to earn the ICE certificate and A-level bundles in Years 12–13 to meet Cambridge requirements and ICE/AICE diplomas. Instruction is in English with Serbian mediation, and the school is a UCAS registered centre. Cambridge Distance Learning is available for online study. The campus emphasizes technology-enriched learning through Google Classroom, tablets and e-notebooks, complemented by school counsellors and mentors. The school offers a broad extracurricular programme, including clubs such as Debate, Film Club, ISMUN and Eco-School, plus excursions, theatre, cinema visits and sports events.
