History

Ruđer Bošković School is a private international school in Belgrade comprising a Primary School and a Secondary School. Both schools are authorised by the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. The school has twenty years of operation. The High School follows the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, and also offers IB programmes: the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. The Primary School follows the National Curriculum of Serbia and also offers an international programme for primary and lower secondary students.

Community

Students at Ruđer Bošković School participate in a wide range of language, cultural and academic activities. They regularly engage in World Language Day, and the school hosts or participates in events such as the annual Belgrade Book Fair, museum visits and cultural exhibitions. They take part in theatre, writing and art workshops, and other activities like orienteering and sports; they also host and attend the two-day regional conference International Days at Ruđer and collaborate with other Belgrade and regional schools on projects (round tables, sports competitions, COGNITIA LIBERA and more). The school also emphasizes environmental initiatives (Green Fair, Ruđer Fest) and humanitarian activities.

Parent-Teacher Association

Ruđer Bošković School offers extensive collaboration with parents. This includes individual contact between parents and the class teacher, direct communication with subject teachers, parents' meetings and workshops, and representations of learning outcomes to parents through School visits, public classes and student performances. Parents are included in monitoring and developing students' skills, and are encouraged to contribute through professional talks (for example a doctor's lecture on healthy lifestyles). A Parents Council has a significant role in evaluating and developing the quality of school work, and operates according to its rules and regulations.

Rudjer Bošković School is a private international school in Belgrade serving students aged 5 to 18, with both Primary and Secondary sections authorised by the Serbian Ministry. The Primary School follows the national curriculum and offers Cambridge Primary Programme and Cambridge Secondary One, while the IB Primary Years Programme began in 2015 and the IB Middle Years Programme is accredited for upper primary since 2018-19. The Secondary School follows the national curriculum and offers Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme, with IB MYP accreditation for the early grades. The school provides education from preschool through gymnasium, using modern teaching methods and maintaining small class sizes (10–20).
