The school offers boarding at two hostels: ACS (Independent) Boarding School and Oldham Hall. From 2018, all new international students residing in Singapore without parents must commit to staying in one of these hostels for a minimum period of one year. Both hostels host students from other ACS schools and provide modern facilities in a supportive and safe environment. A limited number of homestays with private families approved by the school are also available through the International Pastoral Coordinator.
The full school uniform must be worn with the school badge at all times. Chapel days require a white shirt or blouse with tie, and formal wear is compulsory for designated events such as Founder's Day, Speech Day and when representing the school; the PE kit is mandatory for PE lessons. Footwear must be plain white or black shoes with white socks, and hair/attire must meet grooming standards. Uniform can be purchased from Popular Book Store (School) behind the canteen or from Bibi&Baba at Far East Shopping Centre, Singapore 238882.
The canteen is a 550-seat facility serving Chinese, Western and Vegetarian cuisines, along with snacks, and serves as a social and study space for students.
The school uses an eight-house system: Cheong Koon Seng (CKS), Goh Hood Keng (GHK), Lee Seng Gee (LSG), Oldham (OLD), Shaw Vee Meng (SVM), Tan Chin Tuan (TCT), Thoburn (THO), Tan Kah Kee (TKK). Heads of House coordinate house activities and pastoral care, supported by House Tutors who monitor academic progress and behaviour within each house.
ACS (International) is owned by the Methodist Church of Singapore. Governance is led by the ACS (International) Board of Management and an Executive Management team, headed by the Principal; the governance structure is outlined in the Parent Handbook and accompanying organisational materials.
ACS International Singapore offers the IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme to students aged 12 to 18. The school provides an array of facilities, including modern science laboratories, art studios, and performance spaces. ACS International is renowned for its annual musical theatre productions, and emphasizes community involvement through Christian initiatives. The school also offers students opportunities to participate in exchange programs and global competitions that broaden their perspectives.
