The school maintains a bilingual environment and a bicultural model designed by HWA International School. Located in the Central Region of Singapore, it serves students in One-North, Buona Vista, and Queenstown. The Chinese label 新加坡华人国际学校 translates to 'Singapore Chinese International School'.
The school offers co-curricular activities (CCAs) as part of its programme. A Parent Support Group (PSG) was established in 2011 to engage families and the school community.
