1) Eligibility: The Lodestar Montessori School - Elementary admits children aged 6-8 years for Elementary 1 or Elementary 2. Priority is given first to children from Lodestar Montessori Preschool and Eager Kids Montessori, then to children from Montessori backgrounds, and finally to children from non-Montessori backgrounds. Only children with Dependent Passes or Singapore PRs are eligible to apply; Singapore citizens must comply with the Compulsory Education Act (Cap 51). 2) Application: The Application Fee is $2,000, a one-time payment. The fee is payable upon application. The fee is non-refundable. 3) Tuition and fees: Montessori Elementary Program Fees are $22,800 yearly. It is invoiced bi-monthly over 6 installments. A portion of the tuition may be refundable when a student leaves during the year, subject to terms in the student contract. 4) Scholarships: Lodestar offers need and diversity scholarships to new and existing Lodestar families. Scholarships may cover up to 35% of the annual tuition fee, and eligibility is established each year the student applies for and receives scholarship aid. Need is determined through a fair assessment of financial strength, considering factors such as family income, number of siblings, and diversity the student brings to the school community.
