The OWIS Newton Campus is situated on Bukit Timah Road, opposite KK Hospital and a five-minute walk from Little India MRT station. This central location provides convenient connectivity for families relocating to nearby neighbourhoods such as Novena, Orchard Boulevard, River Valley, and Tanglin Road. The campus is thoughtfully designed to be an easily accessible, student-centric environment for young learners.
OWIS Newton caters specifically to young learners from ages 3 to 11, encompassing Early Childhood (preschool) through Primary Grade 5. Upon completing their primary education at the Newton campus, students have the opportunity to transition to either the OWIS Nanyang or OWIS Digital Campus for their secondary years.
The Newton location is a co-educational, international day school focused entirely on preschool and primary education. It fosters an inclusive, multicultural classroom environment with small class sizes, and it does not offer boarding facilities.
The school provides English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes to assist students who are currently developing their English proficiency. Furthermore, a low student-teacher ratio allows educators to offer personalised attention to support the individual learning progress of each child.
OWIS does not hold an affiliation with any specific country and instead follows an internationally-minded curriculum.
The school is non-denominational. It operates with an inclusive approach that welcomes and respects students of all cultures, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds.
The daily routine at the Newton campus thoughtfully balances inquiry-led academics with physical education, digital learning, art, and music. While exact start, break, and end times are not detailed on the public campus webpage, the schedule is specifically tailored to nurture holistic development and collaboration throughout the day.
OWIS offers an optional school bus service managed by contracted third-party transport providers, with termly fees calculated based on residential distance zones.
