TLS Academy was founded in 2009 by Esther Chua, originally starting as a homeschool initiative using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum. It later developed into a registered private school and is incorporated as TLS Academy Pte. Ltd., a private company limited by shares. The school is registered with Singapore’s Committee for Private Education and holds EduTrust certification. Since its founding, it has enrolled over 200 international students from more than 20 nationalities.
TLS Academy fosters a close-knit school community with students from over 20 nationalities. The school encourages participation in community activities and regional, national, and international competitions, promoting student engagement beyond the classroom.
TLS Academy is a private primary and secondary school, offering the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) programme and an American curriculum, culminating in an American High School Diploma. With a low student-to-supervisor ratio of 8:1, students receive personalized attention and academic support. Rooted in Christian values, the school integrates moral and spiritual development into its curriculum and extends to leadership and service-oriented programs, encouraging students to contribute positively to their communities. Beyond the classroom, TLS Academy provides co-curricular opportunities such as drama classes.
