English is the primary language of instruction at XCL World Academy, with dedicated English as an Additional Language (EAL) support available for students who require additional language development. XWA offers a multilingual learning environment with opportunities to study and strengthen a range of languages across different year levels, including Mandarin, French, Spanish, and Japanese. The school also offers an English-Chinese Bilingual Programme in the Early and Primary Years, where students learn through both languages in an immersive co-teaching environment led by native-speaking educators. XCL World Academy’s English-Chinese Bilingual Programme is led by experienced bilingual educators, including Angela Gao, Head of Bilingual, who has played a key role in developing the school’s bilingual learning approach and Chinese curriculum. Available from Pre-K to Grade 5, the programme is designed to help students develop fluency, biliteracy, and cross-cultural understanding through immersive, dual-language learning experiences.
