Leon Štukelj International School Maribor is located at Klinetova ulica 18 in Nova vas district of Maribor, at foot of Pohorje Hill. Opened in 2023, the school is registered as an international school in Slovenia and operates as an IB World School offering PYP for ages 3–12 and the MYP for Grades 6–8 (ages 11–13). For 2026/27 the school plans to extend to Early Years (4–5), Primary Years (6–10) and Middle Years (11–13), with the IB Early Years programme launching in Sept 2026/27. The PYP uses an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary approach across eight subject groups; the MYP delivers English as the Language of Instruction with Slovenian and German or French taught as foreign languages.
