It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Online Application: Begin by filling out the online application. The form collects student questions, recent school transcripts, optional references, and a brief family introduction video. This step creates the initial record for review and allows the admissions team to assess academic history and family context.
2. School Visit: We invite you to visit our Yongsan-gu campus to meet our faculty and community, learn more about SPS culture, and explore our state-of-the-art learning facilities. This visit helps families understand the school environment and meet key staff who will support the student.
3. Interview: Selected applicants will be invited to our admissions day, where students complete academic assessments, a lesson observation, and participate in an in-depth family interview. The admissions day combines academic work with family discussions to gauge fit with SPS's program and values.
4. Admission Decision: Families will be notified of the admissions decision by the end of the application period. If accepted, completed Enrollment Agreements are due within two weeks.
5. Onsite Evaluation: Shortlisted students and parents will be invited to an onsite evaluation at SPS, which will include student academic assessments, a group lesson activity, and a family interview. This step provides a hands-on chance to observe how the student engages in classroom tasks and collaborative activities.
6. Reading Assessment: Shortlisted students will complete an assessment to determine their Reading level. The Reading Assessment helps determine readiness and any needed reading support.
7. Group Lesson Activity: During the onsite evaluation, students will participate in a group lesson activity with fellow students and members of SPS faculty. This activity assesses collaboration, communication, and how the student participates in a peer-learning setting.
8. Family Interview: Students and parents will participate in a family interview, where we discuss how SPS can best support their child's development. The family interview addresses goals, concerns, and how SPS can align with the family's values and expectations.
9. Tuition Assistance: Children of missionaries and pastors are eligible for tuition assistance.
10. Enrollment & Fees: Admission decisions are communicated by the end of the application period. If accepted, Enrollment Agreements are due within two weeks. Tuition is ₩18,000,000 per academic year, and ₩5,000,000 is due upon admission.
