Staff backgrounds include volunteering with the elderly and disabled and involvement in community service activities. Carola serves on the Board of Montessori Europe, leading the Sustainability Working Group.
Adolescent Program Pedagogical Team supports the Adolescent Program. Barcelona Montessori School is opening a Secondary School Program in September 2025. Abi is Head of School and Julianna is Deputy Head.
The school has two campuses: Pomaret 25 and Esperança 13. The Pomaret campus has 1900 square meters of indoor space and 5000 square meters of outdoor space. A bus service is available for the start and end of the day.
Barcelona Montessori School offers a Montessori education in Barcelona, combining the Montessori Curriculum with the British National Curriculum and the Early Years Foundation Stage. The school serves ages 1 to 12, and a Secondary Adolescent Program for ages 12–16 opened in September 2025. English is the language of instruction, with Catalan and Spanish taught on site. The school operates across two campuses, Pomaret (opened 2022) and Esperança (opened 2020), totaling about 3,000 square meters of indoor space and 6,000 square meters of outdoor space. Pomaret houses Early Years through Primary with Nido spaces, Infant Communities, and Children's Houses; Esperança hosts the Primary program with a dedicated art and music room and library.
