The life and organization of the centre revolves around achieving the students overall wellbeing by respecting and tending to their individuality and promoting their own personal development. Active family participation and interaction with teachers and staff is encouraged, as parents are responsible for the education of their child. Students have freedom, and the respect they must show toward their companions, families, teachers and staff emanates from this freedom; the student will always be held responsible for their own actions. Teachers prioritize learning skills over teaching skills and continually train to provide students with the necessary tools to discover and learn. Language learning is a fundamental achievement; English and French are included as first and second foreign languages. Physical activity and sports are a fundamental pillar of student development, and a balanced diet is supported by in-house meal services; we are committed to respecting the environment and the historical and cultural heritage. Centro Educativo Británico S21 La Laguna is a school offering British, American and Cambridge curricula. Its pedagogical model treats education as socialization, prioritizing student well‑being, individuality and personal development. Learning is seen as ongoing discovery, with teachers as guides rather than traditional instructors. Language learning sits at the core: English and French are taught as first and second foreign languages, and a trilingual project aims to master Spanish, English and French by the end of Baccalaureate, with Cambridge Examinations and Alliance Française certifications. French begins in the first year of primary education and both languages are integrated across Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate through transversal projects. The school uses Technological Itinerary and spaces such as the Project Room and Smart Zone to place students at the center of their learning. Extra-curricular offerings include Ireland Immersion, Cambridge Exam Center, Summer in England and Tennis Academy. Family involvement is encouraged in a community.
