Base International School offers a wide range of extracurricular activities—educational, cultural, and sporting—designed to support the integral development of students. Activities include Robotics (Preschool and Nursery) and Robotics in English for Primary, as well as Chess, Theatre in English, Music & Choir, and a variety of sports. Activities take place during lunch or after school from 17:00 to 18:20 and are supervised by qualified professionals.
Arts offerings include Ballet – Flamenco, Ceramics, Art, Modern Dance, Music Initiation, and Music & Choir. Theatre in English is available for Primary and Secondary students, providing drama opportunities. Base International School in La Moraleja, Alcobendas, is a private international school for ages 1 to 18. It is part of Affinitas Education, a network of bilingual schools. The school offers IB (MYP and DP) as well as American and British curricula, plus a bespoke option. Preschool to High School pathways are provided through either the Spanish Bachillerato or the IB Diploma Programme. From Year 10, students follow an Academic and Career Guidance Plan to identify interests, choose Bachillerato, and plan university pathways.
