Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

The school operates a dual British and Spanish curriculum. Students earn two official certifications: British and Spanish. The program includes IGCSE and Cambridge International A Levels, alongside the Spanish EBAU baccalaureate. Each student has two tutors, one Spanish and one British, coordinating learning in both systems.

Arts and Creative

Events and performances are a regular part of school life; from age 4, students perform on stage at the Alfredo Kraus, practicing public speaking in four languages. Speakers' Corner gives young students prominence in oral language from early stages. International debate and Model United Nations activities develop public speaking and performance skills. The Philharmonic Society concerts provide opportunities to attend live performances as part of the school's life.

Cultural and Language

The school teaches four languages: Spanish, English, German and Mandarin Chinese. Native English instruction supports achieving English proficiency equivalent to a native speaker. International debate and Model United Nations complement language learning and intercultural skills. Students travel to the UK, Germany and China as part of their learning experiences.

Social and Hobbies

Public speaking and international debate are integral, with participation in national debate leagues and Model UNs. Sports include basketball, football, and volleyball as core activities in daily life. Public stage performances and multilingual events are a regular part of student life, building communication and teamwork.

Community and Service

The CHI social responsibility program engages students in CHI Clubs' annual actions, including integration with Down's syndrome groups and solidarity food collections. Students also visit Tafira Home for the Elderly and participate in sustainability projects such as reforestation, beach cleaning and school gardens. Through these activities, students develop personal growth and community awareness.

Leadership and Professional

Two tutors per student coordinate learning in both the British and Spanish systems, fostering balanced guidance and leadership development. Public speaking, debate and MUN cultivate leadership, communication and professional skills. The Alumni Association promotes personal and professional networking across generations. Graduates enroll in top universities and pursue diverse careers.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Healthy habits are promoted through nutrition workshops and a school menu designed by the Aleris Centre, led by Dietitian-Nutritionist Aitor Sánchez. The Nutrition Department regularly visits classrooms to reinforce healthy living. Sports such as basketball, football and volleyball support physical wellbeing and teamwork.
