Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school develops students across physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and spiritual dimensions. The affective dimension is prioritized in learning, with emphasis on empathy, respect, and active listening. Teachers act as mediators of learning, provoking, organizing, and preparing materials to support student growth. Social-emotional development is reinforced through convivencia activities and tutorías with a Christian focus that foster reflection, dialogue, and community. The school upholds values of love, justice, service, creativity, and perseverance, guiding daily life and learning. The Evangelical dimension shapes daily life and study through faith, culture, and life discussions.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The Colegio Internacional Virgen de Gracia de Granada is a bilingual English–Spanish international school. All grade levels from Infantil through Bachillerato are taught in two languages: English and Spanish. The school offers French and German as optional languages in Secondary and Bachillerato, with opportunities for language certification, exchanges, and immersion abroad. It operates as a Cambridge exam center and prepares students for Cambridge certificates. The Diploma Dual program provides Spain's diploma alongside the American High School Diploma.

Mental Wellbeing

The school places the affective dimension at the heart of learning, prioritizing students' emotional needs. Convivencias strengthen student bonds and cultivate empathy, Christian values, and community. Tutorías with a Christian purpose promote empathy, respect, listening, and a sense of meaning in life. The Evangelical dimension guides daily life by encouraging dialogue between faith, culture, and life.
