Extracurricular activities are available from Reception Class onwards. The programme includes languages (Mandarin, German and French) and technology-focused options such as Robotics and Nenoos 360. Debate Club and Little Reporters help students develop reasoning, communication and research skills. This complements the broader curriculum and supports independent learning.
Students can develop artistic and creative skills through vocal and choral work, instrumental and performance training, drama, art and dance. There is a Comic Club, Play School Music, and a Horticultural Club, as well as opportunities for Creative constructions and Little Chefs. Students may take part in concerts or festivals outside the school to showcase their talents. These activities run alongside a broad artistic curriculum.
Mandarin, German and French are available as academic language activities. These language offerings support linguistic development and broader cultural learning.
Chess, Multisports, Basketball, Judo, Swimming, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Rugby are offered as extracurricular sports. Students can also engage in social-oriented clubs such as Comic Club and Little Reporters.
Partnerships include WWF and Eco-Schools, connecting students with environmental projects. The partnerships connect students with environmental challenges and align with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Debate Club develops leadership, critical thinking and public speaking. Little Reporters also help communication and presentation skills. Students may take on roles within clubs and school events, building organisational and teamwork skills.
Sport is a core part of school life; facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, a basketball court, a covered sports area and a dance studio. Extracurricular sports include Chess, Multisports, Basketball, Judo, Swimming, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Rugby. Pastoral care and wellbeing support are provided as part of school life.
Coruña British International School offers a British international education for ages 3–18. It follows the English National Curriculum across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form (A-Levels). The school provides English immersion alongside a multilingual approach to support international and local families. The campus spans more than 3,200 m2, with facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, playing fields, a dance/drama studio, a workshop, a greenhouse and a Learning Hub (library, learning support and technology space). Early Years have dedicated outdoor space; Primary classrooms open to shared areas; Secondary and Baccalaureate rooms cluster around a STEAM zone with laboratories, workshops and music/art facilities.
