The school is an officially approved Norwegian school in Spain for grades 1 through 13. It is located at Avda. de Castilla 38b, Ciudad Quesada 03170 Rojales (Alicante), Spain. DNSR describes itself as a modern school under the sun and blends study with movement and community. Each school day starts in base groups with a base teacher, focusing on academic and social development with student participation and individualized support. The school offers education from first grade through the third year of upper secondary (VG3). A new outdoor classroom space is being prepared, including a recently installed outdoor table.
The school loans learning resources at the start of the school year. Students in VG1 and VG2 have access to an iPad, and VG3 uses a Mac for work during lessons; private devices can be used by arrangement. The school provides a Norwegian upper secondary program with studies in languages, social studies and economics. Students choose two program subjects from their program area over two years, plus a third program subject; some subjects can be taken as private candidates if needed. VG2 offers Reiseliv og språk 1, Media og informasjonskunnskap 1, and Entrepenørskap og bedriftsutvikling 1, while VG3 offers Medie- og informasjonskunnskap 2, Reiseliv og språk 2, and Entrepenørskap og bedriftsutvikling 2. The DNSR portal provides access to the school library and related resources, including the Søk i skolens bibliotek feature.
Some activities we participate in during the year include Beach Day, Kreativ samarbeidssuke with OD, Aktivitetsdag i Pinjeskogen, Tine-stafetten, Juleverksted, Idrettsdag and Realfagsdag. There are overnight stays at the school and class trips during the final week of the school year to foster community and hands-on learning.

DNSR operates with base groups and a learning portal; younger students use iPads, VG3 uses Macs. Activities include Beach Day, Kreativ samarbeidsuke, Idrettsdag and Realfagsdag, while MOT initiatives foster leadership and community engagement for all students.
