Den Norske Skolen Málaga (DNS Málaga) is a private Norwegian primary and lower secondary school located on Costa del Sol, in Benalmádena and Arroyo de la Miel. It serves pupils aged 6 to 16 in grades 1–10. The school follows a bespoke Norwegian curriculum with a strong emphasis on personal development, well‑being and inclusive learning. Highly qualified teachers use varied teaching methods and modern learning technology to create engaging instruction that prepares students for further education and lifelong learning. The campus includes bright, air‑conditioned classrooms, science, art and music rooms, a library and a culture hall for performances. Outdoor spaces feature a playground updated in 2022, a paddle court and a covered ball court, supporting active learning. 1. Priority is given to students who already have a place. To confirm the place and secure admission, those who wish to exercise priority must apply by December 1, 2025 for the 2026/27 school year. The application is submitted through the application portal. 2. The regular application deadline is February 1, 2026 for the 2026/27 school year; after this date, placements are granted if there is capacity, on a waitlist basis. The application portal for the upcoming school year opened on November 1, 2025. 3. The school has only one intake per year. New students must join the autumn term no later than September 30. The admissions regulations provide guidelines for student placement; the school does not offer short-term placements. A submitted application does not guarantee admission; wait for a positive confirmation. Incomplete or incorrect information in the application can result in loss of a place. The school requires a copy of a Norwegian passport to be attached to the application. 4. Pricing for the 2026/27 school year includes the enrollment fee of 565€ (8–10) and 525€ (1–7), automatically deducted from the spring invoice. Autumn tuition is 1400€ (8–10) and 1300€ (1–7); spring tuition is 1680€ (8–10) and 1560€ (1–7). A second-child discount applies: 176€ in autumn and 264€ in spring. Cafeteria fees are 250€ in autumn and 330€ in spring. Payments are by bank transfer to Fundacion Cultural Noruega, Kutxabank, IBAN ES52 2095 8605 60 9167584714, SWIFT BASKES2BXXX; include the student's name and the relevant term as the reference.
Places beyond the main intake are allocated if capacity remains, on a waitlist basis.
