Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is invoiced and due monthly in advance, with invoicing starting in September. Payments are expected on the first working day of each month.
- Standard collection method: bank direct debit (Bankeinzugsverfahren). Other payment methods are possible but incur an administrative handling charge of EUR 15.50 per collection. All bank charges are borne by the payer.
- If a direct debit fails, the school issues a reminder; unpaid amounts not settled within 30 days are subject to a written reminder with a EUR 20.00 dunning fee; persistent non‑payment may lead to legal collection procedures and related costs charged to the debtor. Substantial outstanding arrears can lead to termination of the school contract for the following school year or exclusion from lessons.
- Billing for excursions and special activities is normally added to the following month's tuition invoice; if a pupil does not participate in an excursion, bus costs are not refunded but entrance fees may be.
- Termination during the school year: months started are billed in full. Written deregistration must be submitted at least 14 days before the end of the month in which the pupil leaves. Fees continue to be charged in full for temporary absences under ten months; fees are waived only if a pupil is absent for a complete school year or longer.
Boarding
- The school's published fee schedule and service descriptions provide charges for day‑school tuition, afternoon care and transport; there are no boarding (internat) fees listed. No boarding provision is charged in the fee schedule.
Other costs (examples to expect)
- Extracurricular course fees, late‑start materials, special language integration phases, and specific activity costs are charged separately according to the current offers (examples: Spanish integration phase in kindergarten listed at EUR 52.50; afternoon activity course fees listed in the course offer).
Refund and reimbursement rules
- The one‑time enrollment fee is non‑refundable if a reserved school place is not taken.
- The long‑term deposit (Baustein) is refundable when the student leaves the school under the terms published for that deposit.
- The reservation fee is offset against the first tuition invoice; families who cancel after the published deadline for cancellations forfeit the reservation fee. Partial months already started are billed in full; absences of fewer than ten months do not suspend tuition liability, while absences covering a full school year or longer result in tuition exemption for that period.
Accepted payment methods
- Primary method: bank direct debit (SEPA/Bankeinzug). Other payment methods are processed but subject to an administrative surcharge per collection (EUR 15.50). All bank transfer fees must be paid by the sender.
(Amounts and terms are listed in the school's current fee schedule and the school's fee regulations.)
